"Great tennis" at the Mall of Berlin

Outstanding location, great atmosphere, top sport. That was what the "Piazza Open" at the Mall of Berlin had to offer.

There were five days of tennis to watch and take part in: in the middle of Berlin, in the middle of one of the most impressive shopping and experience centers in the world. "As a location, this is one of the best I've ever seen," said a delighted Barbara Rittner, Tournament Director of the Berlin Ladies Open presented by ecotrans Group, which will be held from June 15-23 at the Steffi Graf Stadium at LTTC "Rot-Weiß" e. V.

The absolute world elite in women's tennis will be competing there. At the Piazza Open in the Mall of Berlin, with 10,000 euros prize money, the aim was to present tennis in all its facets to potential new target groups. This worked spectacularly well in the spectacular setting. Spectators crowded around the blue court - where great tennis was on offer. Stephanie Wagner (SCC Berlin) won the league players' tournament 9:8 against Lena Papadakis (LTTC "Rot-Weiß" e. V.) and was also delighted afterwards: "It was great to play in such a great location and atmosphere."
